Methodology & Assumptions

Calculations use Tier 1 emission factors. Petrol is calculated at ~2.31kg CO2 per liter. EV impact includes battery charging losses (~15%) and upstream grid intensity. Transit values represent a blended average of urban bus and rail systems (approx. 68g/km). Tree offset assumes a sequestration rate of 21kg CO2/year per mature tree.
